   I’m not writing to bash Jews. But, I have done alot of research on ww2 and there are alot of things that bothered me about the Jewish people around that time period. First off the Jews as a group of people new that when they went off to the death camps they were going to die. The Jews just by the numbers had enough people to have a small army. I understand that organizing a small army would have been hard but it would have been better than lining up like cattle. I think what happened to the Jews makes what happend to the africian slaves, and the american indians, a walk in the park. Also I’ve researched were in slaved Jews worked as countafitters during the war that helped supply the Germans the funds to keep the war going. I understand that to turn down that offer was death for those men. if you think about it how many more Jews and americians died because of the finacial gain that they helped with? Anyway, I seen the artical about the watch maker shoting that man, and I thought to my self now if the Jewish people as a hole would have stoud up like he did maybe things would have been alittle differnt. The out look that alot of people have of the Jewish people after ww2 is that they only stand up when they no they can win. I have heard alot of reasons why they think that and some make alot of sence but I no that the germans used everything aganist them. Like taking mens familys so they would not put up a fight.    We Jews have bothered everyone through history and everyone wants our money and our heads. They basically want us all dead. They want our homes and factories and our jobs. Nothing has changed in 2000 years, especially in Europe.

   They want us dead because we are against idolatry and we gave the world the ten commandments. As a result, Flavius Titus, Ceasar of Rome created a lie, that the Jews killed Jesus and must be guilty forever. (Even if Jesus never existed, but that’s a whole other argument.) He also said we take the blood of pretty little gentile boys and put it in our passover wafers. The Arabs liked that one so much, they changed the recipe and put it on the front pages of their newspapers. We now also put the blood in our Purim Hamantaschen. I can’t. My blood squeezer has been out of warrantee for 2000+ years.

   I guess you never heard of the resettlement to the East, Arbeit Macht Frei, or the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. That was just the longest running battle against the Germans in all of World War II.

   Really? None of that stuff was a walk in the park. The holds of the slave ships were as bad as the slave labor camps, and the epidemics that slaughtered the native americans were a result deliberate germ warfare. Neither was a walk in the park. And neither is the genocide in darfur, the ethnic cleansing in the balkans, the jihad against infidels everywhere in the world, the pol pot slaughter in cambodia, the class genocide in rwanda, and all the rest.    did they? they were told they were being relocated to work camps. maybe some had an inkling, but most european jews couldn’t imagine that such a wretched thing could transpire in reality.

   uh huh. where would they have gotten guns from? where would they have been able to train? with the nazis’ noses planted so firmly up their asses, how could they possibly have organized resistance? only three groups were able to organize underground as far as i know, and in the end, they were all obliterated by the nazis: the french partisans, the warsaw ghetto uprisers, and this one sect of chasidim who were an offshoot of ishbitz.

   how many jews could possibly have been counterfiters that this should reflect in any way on european jewry as a whole? more jews were overseers in concentration camps (otherwise known as kapos) than they were counterfitters. but few, if any of them, thought, wow, if i do this, other people will die. they thought, wow, if i do this, maybe i can survive. jewish law says you put yourself and your family first, you put your people second, and you put everyone else third. i don’t see what’s wrong with this, what’s singularly jewish about it, or how it’s different from what anyone else would’ve done if found in that same situation.

   i don’t understand how you can be split in this debate. you know, there’s a great scene in the film the believer, where these neo-nazis are court-ordered to sit down with a group of holocaust survivors. one recounts the story of watching his son being killed by the nazis. one of the skinheads says, “why didn’t you jump on him and kill him?!” and a woman in the room speaks up and says, “you have no idea what it was like. you couldn’t possibly imagine. you weren’t there.”

   we’d all like to believe we’d be brave if confronted with that situation. there was a black comic who was talking about the way black youth get all riled up about what they “would’ve done” if they’d have been confronted with slavery. “i would’ve taken that whip and said, ‘fuck you massa.’ yeah right. the second you got hit with that shit it’d have been like, ‘whacha want me to do? want me to shine ya shoes?’”

   seriously, until you find yourself in that position, you have no place to judge. and that you even think along such lines that the jews are somehow culpable for what happened to them because they didn’t do enough to stand up against the nazis is pretty much ridiculous.

   I strongly object to the 1st statement on this page. I am not a jew myself, but I certainly do not hate them. The jews weren’t able to make an amry- they had no firearms- duh! they had no choicce but to line up like cattle. They were still people, and all no people deserve that no matter how much they annoy you. The 1st statement is insensitive and disrespectful.

   Yes, I am German and I have alot of jews friends also I’m queer so I would have been killed myself if I was born around that time. I don’t thinlk it’s cool what happen to the jews. But I’m sick of the jews who give me this poor me story, move on. If you stop and think about it you can see how far you’ve comed, own about everything and yet you still wanna bitch. All I have to say is get over it.
