Israel is by any measure and means, an occupier of stolen lands and a government which has institutionalized murder, theft, torture and deceit.

The Israelis should be the guests of the host country and act accordingly. Imagine someone coming into your home, stealing your belongings, killing your children, then criminalizing you for defending yourself.

This is Israel — and you cannot defend or justify its crimes at all.

I wish the people of Israel and the people of Palestine would just learn to get along. I am only intolerant of intolerance. All people deserve to be treated equally, and that includes Israelis and Palestinians!

I wish I could be there. There is no alternative 3rd way demonstration that I know of in Palm Beach county, where I live. As a Jewish educator I plan on going to the “support Israel rally” wearing my Shalom Achshav T-shirt.

My politics aren’t as lefty as yours (I don’t necessarily agree that an immediate cease fire would be the best option), but I 100% support the spirit of this. The world absolutely needs more people waving Palestinian and Israeli flags together.

Do you know which side of 2nd Ave you’ll be on? If not, please tweet it once you figure it out. I’m going to try to come if I can, but since I’ll likely have babymicah along for the ride, I don’t want to end up stuck in a scrum of Kahanist or Jihadist mouth breathers.
