great piece. I’d offer one note: I don’t think the Dodgers were specifically a Jewish thing as much as they were a Brooklyn Jewish thing. Manhattan Jews in Harlem were Giants fans, and Bronx Jews were Yankees fans. I know plenty of all three who would say the same, and my Poppy on my mother’s side and my Grandma on my father’s side would tell you the same.
