WND: Worse than hypocrites

Politricks

World Net Daily is running an “exclusive” story about an Illinois man who is claiming to have snorted cocaine and engaged in homosexual acts with Barack Obama as recently as 1999.

It’s an absurd and cruel allegation, and one I’m sure the courts will rule as fallacious and defamatory, but let that not stop WND, ever the purveyors of journalistic integrity.

When I read this story, I immediately wondered if WND had covered the rape/drugging charges leveled against G.W. Bush by Texan Margie Schoedinger in the same sensationalistic manner, failing to vet the accuser, and leading audiences to believe the allegations true. But, no. In fact, WND went to great pains to portray Schoedinger as a madwoman, attacking her story and her credibility as an individual. She eventually committed suicide before seeing her day in court.

Typical, isn’t it? One set of journalistic standards applies to Repuglicans and another to Democrats entirely. But that’s just par for the course for the Conservative media, where “Fair and Balanced” is nothing more than an Orwellian catch phrase meant to hide malicious intent.

Is it possible the blame rests in the Democratic party itself, possibly with the rabid anti-Obama Hillary staff?

They threw out a $100,000 polygraph challenge to Larry Sinclair to see if this story had legs.

He’s accepted and will take it on 2/26

It’s a little unfair to paint Fox and WND with the same brush…
